Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian as well as an actress and writer. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized as an actress in 1974 while she was a part of The Second City in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also in her main ensemble in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working alongside Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara was recognized for her stand-up and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was part of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
