Jennifer Rene Psaki
Psaki, the oldest of three children, was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8] and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, a retired real-estate developer, was the grandfather of Eileen who had immigrated from Greece in 1904. His mother was of Irish descent. Her parents got married in 1976. Psaki also descends from Polish origins. Psaki graduated in 1996 from Greenwich High School. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000, obtaining an education in both English and sociology. She is an active Chi Omega member. While at William & Mary, Psaki was a backstroke athlete with the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki started her professional career in 2001, working on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was then appointed as the deputy press secretary for John Kerry's presidential campaign in 2004. Psaki was in the position from 2005 until 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, and also as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be a political analyst throughout 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. Psaki will host a show on MSNBC's Peacock streaming service in 2023. Her first television appearance came on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she discussed the Robb Elementary School shooting.
